Three Leaf Catering, in collaboration with the University of Notre Dame, is seeking on-call Banquet Servers for campus events in the Hospitality department. The role involves setup and teardown, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest requests to uphold service standards on event days.

Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, follow safety procedures, and be available for football Saturdays and major campus events. Pay is $17.50 per hour plus gratuity.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work football Saturdays and all major campus events.
• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food.

Responsabilités

• Prepare table service for functions as directed by Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server.
• Follow written specifications provided by the events department.
• Participate in equipment removal after meal service.
• Professionally serve banquet functions; serving food and beverages and handling guest requests.
• Follow established guidelines for safe handling of food.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and in good working condition.

Job Description

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety(UOES) division is currently hiring for on-call/temporary Banquet Servers atThree Leaf CateringandThe Morris Innin our campus Hospitality department. The UOES division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations.

This position assists with set-up and tear down of banquet events. The Banquet Server will serve food, pour beverages and handle requests of guests in accordance with the University's methods and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare table service for functions as per direction of the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server
• Follow written specifications provided by the events department
• Participate in equipment removal following meal service
• Professionally serve banquet functions; serving food, pouring beverages, and handling special requests of guests
• Follow established guidelines for the safe handling of food
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and in good working condition
