Job summary

University of Notre Dame is seeking on-call/temporary Banquet Servers for Three Leaf Catering and The Morris Inn in the campus Hospitality department. The role involves set-up and tear-down, serving food and beverages, and handling guest requests according to campus standards.

Applicants must be available for football Saturdays and major campus events. Excellent communication, the ability to stand for up to 6 hours, and adherence to food safety procedures are required.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work football Saturdays and all major campus events.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare table service for functions as per direction of the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server
• Follow written specifications provided by the events department
• Participate in equipment removal following meal service
• Professionally serve banquet functions; serving food, pouring beverages, and handling special requests of guests
• Follow established guidelines for the safe handling of food
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and in good working condition
