Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is seeking a Student Assistant for CASE Operations. The role supports the Campus Activities and Student Engagement office, assisting at the service desk, directing calls, and handling other duties as assigned.

The position requires a part-time student status, eligibility for Federal Work-Study, and a background check. Preference given to students with two or more semesters remaining at UWSP and familiarity with Word, Publisher, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Eligible for Federal Work-Study at the time of hiring and throughout employment.
• Available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week during the semester and attend meetings/events as necessary, including occasional evenings/weekends.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check initiated by University Centers.
• Two semesters remaining at UWSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist at CASE service desk and direct incoming calls.
• Perform other duties as assigned by CASE Operations staff.
• Support CASE-sponsored events outside normal duties and work additional hours as needed.
