Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Entry Management in New Orleans, LA. You will safeguard campus facilities, manage entry points, verify access credentials, and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

The role involves monitoring access, responding to incidents, and performing regular patrols to maintain a safe campus environment. Excellent communication and a customer-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, identification, and visitor authorization according to campus procedures.
• Control entry to academic, residential, administrative, and event locations; maintain access logs and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly using established protocols and contacting leadership or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
