Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control in Albuquerque, NM to safeguard clients across industries by managing visitor entry, verifying credentials, and monitoring access points. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while maintaining a visible, responsive security presence.

This full-time position offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and a structured schedule with daytime to evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, talent, vendors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor documentation in accordance with established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and access-related logs; issue and collect access credentials as authorized.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, lobby areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
