Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring for an Event Security role in New Orleans. The position focuses on checking bags, enforcing access control, and upholding safety while delivering excellent guest service.

You will support event day operations, verify tickets or badges, and help manage crowds. This part-time role offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for training and advancement within a dynamic event environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required; additional screening may be required if driving a company vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Direct traffic and verify entry by tickets, wristbands, or badges.
• Screen guests at entry via bag search, wand, or metal detector; verify IDs.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets from security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand policies and regulations of venues and events.
• Provide directions and help enhance guests' entertainment experience.
