Job summary

Auburn University is seeking an Access Control Support Specialist to join the Facilities Management Access Control team. You will manage keys, credentials, and access levels for faculty, staff, students, and affiliates, while ensuring data integrity and responsive user support.

The role involves coordinating with campus departments, cataloging access requests, and supporting the design and maintenance of access systems to keep the campus secure and efficient.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of customer service and office administration including computers, software, and databases.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with key management, access control, and security databases, systems, and software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns and tracks keys, cards, and credential access levels for campus population.
• Utilizes access control systems, databases, and software; ensures data integrity and conducts audits.
• Provides technical assistance to resolve access concerns and coordinates with administrators to resolve issues.
• Serves as liaison between Access Control and campus departments to manage access needs and scheduling.
