Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; education may be substituted for experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
• Experience with Lenel Software and Access Control Installation strongly preferred.
• Must obtain Lenel Core Certification within a year from hire.
• All positions are security sensitive and require criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and modifies access control readers, electric locks and related devices.
• Program hardware and verify interfaces with other security systems.
• Oversee maintenance and replacement of tools and peripheral devices.
• Review service requests and coordinate campus work.
• Monitor alarms and reduce false positives; notify relevant parties.
• Update Access Control System information in the database.
• Assist campus Access Users with troubleshooting.
