Job summary

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. seeks a Guest Guide to assist guests, guide them to their sites after registration, and enforce campground rules. You will help with housekeeping, trash removal, and basic maintenance while providing accurate information about park rules, activities, and directions.

Responsibilities include guiding guests, selling ice and firewood, keeping grounds clean, and collaborating with staff. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in an outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Office and light maintenance work in high public contact area.
• Read, write, and speak English in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests by guiding them to their sites and with other customer service needs.
• Sell and deliver ice and firewood.
• Keep grounds free from trash and empty receptacles.
• Ensure cleanliness of grounds, restrooms, pool, and offices.
• Clean campsites with minor maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and communicate daily needs.
• Interact with guests and recommend area activities.
• Follow safety guidelines for equipment and chemicals.
• Make minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Maintain courteous, attentive, service-oriented interactions.
• Report disturbances to management or authorities when needed.
• Prioritize tasks with planning and decision making.
