The Recreation Attendant at Kampgrounds of America, Inc. assists the Recreation Lead in planning, organizing, and leading recreation activities for guests, including arts and crafts, games, sports, dramatics, and themed weekends.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate preparations for events from start to finish.
• Assist in creating a detailed events calendar that supports the campground and guests.
• Create supply lists and provide to Recreation Lead as needed.
• Take pictures of activities and obtain photo releases as required.
• Coordinate and prepare food, equipment, awards, and entertainment for events.
• Maintain and clean recreation equipment and facilities.
• Greet new arrivals, explain rules, and encourage participation.
• Explain activity rules and instruct participants of varying skills.
• Enforce safety rules to prevent injury and modify activities as needed.
• Administer basic first aid if needed and notify EMS when necessary.
