Job summary

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. is seeking a Recreation Attendant to assist the Recreation Lead in planning, organizing, and leading campground activities including arts, crafts, games, sports, dramatics, music and themed weekends.

The role emphasizes customer-centric service, safety, and teamwork in a busy outdoor environment, with opportunities to engage guests of all ages and drive memorable experiences at the campground.

Qualifications

• Hear and conversant in English language.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to manage conflict.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate preparations for events from start to finish.
• Assist in creating an events calendar that supports the campground and guests of all ages.
• Create supply lists and provide to Recreation Lead as needed.
• Take pictures of activities and obtain necessary photo release documentation.
• Coordinate and prepare food, equipment, awards and entertainment for events.
• Greet new arrivals, explain rules, and encourage participation.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, cleanliness and customer service.
