Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for an on-site, live-in role at a rural summer camp. You will lead daily culinary operations, manage staff, budget, and enforce strict allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This seasonal contract runs May through September, with a demanding 6‑day/70‑hour week and on-site accommodations. The role requires hands-on leadership, menu execution, and strong communication with campers and leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager certification (Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen and safety compliance; maintain top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place orders, control budgets, track daily reporting.
• Serve as main liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
