Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp sites across the United States. This on-site, live-in position runs May through September, with a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and a focus on high-volume meal preparation and staff supervision.

You will oversee all daily culinary operations, manage budgets, ensure allergen safety and compliance, and serve as the liaison between kitchen staff, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; Allergens knowledge essential.
• Strong leadership, budgeting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking and service quality.
• Manage allergen protocols and maintain sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, food orders, budgets and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods.
