Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead daily operations at our rural summer camp sites. This hands-on, live-in role covers staff supervision, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This seasonal contract runs May through Sept, with competitive pay and a performance bonus. You will oversee menu specs, portion control, sanitation, and collaboration with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office; a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and on-site

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, computer literacy, budgeting capability and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to live on-site and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary flow, portion control, menu specs and scratch cooking.
• Manage allergen protocols and maintain Health Dept sanitation standards.
• Control budgets, inventory, orders, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, leadership, and Wolfoods.
