Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a seasonal, on-site live-in role at rustic camp facilities across the United States. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and enforce allergen safety protocols in a high-volume kitchen.

This on-site position requires a demanding 6-day/70-hour week, with competitive pay, a performance bonus, and full room and board for the contract duration. Lodging provided; travel allowance applies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts and ensure timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety protocols and top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
