Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site summer camp operations. You will oversee all prep, production, and staff management for designated day parts while ensuring allergen safety and sanitation standards.

This fast-paced, high-volume position requires living on-site in rustic camp facilities, with a minimum six-day, 70-hour week and a competitive pay structure including a bonus and room & board.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Proven ability to lead a team in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep, production, portion control, and scratch cooking execution.
• Strict allergen safety compliance and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
