Job summary

Consor is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer in California to lead planning, design and delivery of essential water infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams on treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines and storage facilities.

Requirements include a BS in engineering, 4+ years in water/wastewater, and a California PE license. Hybrid/remote options are available from CA offices; compensation ranges from $115,000 to $150,000+ DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D software is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet objectives, schedules, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project tasks, budgets, and timelines.
• Participate in client meetings and build strong client relationships.
• Conduct analyses, evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations.
• Review plans and documents for codes and quality procedures.
• Support construction-phase services including RFIs, shop drawings, and site visits.
• Mentor junior engineers and expand project management responsibilities.
