Job summary

FBFK Law seeks a Regional Operations Manager to run California operations from Irvine with travel to Century City and Del Mar. You will lead three offices, supervise staff, ensure compliance, and align operations with the firm’s standards.

You’ll partner with HR, Finance, and Marketing to build capacity, manage budgets, and drive system implementations. Requires 8+ years in operations, CA employment law knowledge, and a track record of standardizing across offices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of office or operations leadership, including law firm experience.
• 5+ years supervising staff and supporting multiple offices.
• 3+ years hands-on HR work, including recruiting and leaves.
• Knowledge of California wage/hour, meal/rest periods, exempt classifications.
• Experience budgeting, variances, and approve invoices/expenses.
• Hybrid or remote staff management with clear output expectations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across Irvine, Century City, and Del Mar; manage staffing and office services.
• Lead HR activities: recruiting, onboarding, reviews, and discipline for CA staff.
• Maintain California compliance: calendar, harassment prevention, leave notices, safety plans.
• Manage budget with CFO; approve expenses and monitor time entry and billing deadlines.
• Implement Paycom data accuracy and drive Aderant adoption in CA.
