Job summary

LEE, a civic leadership development and membership organization, seeks a part-time Director, Member Engagement Facilitation (Temporary) to lead in-person and virtual member engagements across Northern and Southern California. The role emphasizes intake, planning with partners, and post-event analysis to strengthen programming.

The position requires 5+ years of facilitation experience, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to travel for regional events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience.
• 5+ years relevant professional experience including facilitating learning opportunities for adults.
• Demonstrated ability to plan strategically, prioritize time, and manage implementation of plans in fast-moving environments.
• Demonstrated consultative orientation, with ability to execute on intake needs and co-design experiences with stakeholders.
• Currently reside in the outlined regions with willingness to travel in-person to regional events.
• Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with diverse audiences and partners.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team.
• Strong, demonstrated commitment to LEE’s mission, core values, and theory of change.

Responsibilities

• Participate in intake and co-planning conversations with LEE staff and partner organizations to inform session plans.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual events for members.
• Lead outreach strategy for turnout to events (call, text, etc.).
• Guide members to LEE resources, supports, and opportunities, including coaching.
• Utilize Salesforce/Tableau/Asana/Google Sheets to input and track member engagement data.
• Analyze event results and input into LEE systems within five business days.
• Leverage facilitator guides and decks in session prep and delivery.
• Collaborate with team to learn and share learnings.
• Lead or contribute to team-wide or cross-team special projects.
