Job summary

LEE is a civic leadership nonprofit seeking a Director 1-like professional to facilitate member engagement events across Northern and Southern California. The role emphasizes direct engagement, planning, and data-driven reflection with a focus on English and Spanish bilingual communication.

This temporary, part-time position involves 12–15 hours per event, travel to regional events, and a flexible schedule within a virtual work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience; additional years of experience accepted.
• 5+ years relevant professional experience including facilitating learning opportunities for adults.
• Demonstrated ability to plan strategically, prioritize time, and manage implementation in fast-moving environments.
• Demonstrated consultative orientation with intake needs and co-design experiences with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel in-person to regional events within approved CA/US regions.
• Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with diverse audiences and partners.
• Strong communication and collaboration within a geographically dispersed team.

Responsibilities

• Direct Member Engagement (In-person, virtual, and digital) for events.
• Participate in intake and co-planning conversations with staff and partners.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual events for members.
• Lead outreach for event turnout (call, text, etc.).
• Guide members to LEE resources and coaching opportunities.
• Utilize data and planning systems to input and track member engagement data (Salesforce/Tableau/Google Sheets).
• Analyze event results and record learnings within five business days.
• Collaborate with the team to learn and share insights; support prep and run-throughs.
