Job summary

Amity Foundation in California seeks a Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to support prison and re-entry programs by teaching CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes. You will facilitate sessions, document progress, and collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS teams to help participants build actionable plans.

Ideal candidates bring strong organization, confidentiality, and MS Office skills, with a commitment to community and rehabilitation. This is a full-time, onsite role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator and provide certification details on request.
• Cal MHSA certification required prior to hiring; certification date or number preferred.
• Must possess Peer Support Specialist certification to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes using established curricula.
• Conduct sessions to develop action plans and provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document participant progress in ARMS and related systems.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce participation norms.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS HQ, local institutions, and contracted staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
