Job summary

Amity Foundation is seeking compassionate individuals to join our Prison Projects as Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigators, delivering Life Skills and Family Relations programming.

In this role you will facilitate classes, track participant progress, and coordinate with CDCR/CCHCS staff to support successful re-entry outcomes. Onsite work is required, with a strong emphasis on documentation and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator.
• Certification number on resume preferred.
• If not certified, schedule Cal MHSA Test before applying.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes using standardized curriculum.
• Conduct classes and sessions to develop action plans and make-up work.
• Evaluate and document participant progress.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS HQ, local institutions, and contracted staff.
