Job summary

Amity Foundation, a compassionate Teaching and Therapeutic Community, seeks a Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to guide inmates and participants through life skills and family relations programs. You will lead classes, conduct individual sessions, and monitor progress within the CDCR framework.

The role requires coordination with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters and local institutions, with on-site work in state prison settings.

Qualifications

• Must be Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to be hired.
• Certification number on resume will be prioritized or a scheduled test date should be included.
• Experience with office management and documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes using standard curriculum.
• Conduct classes and individual sessions to develop action plans.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce participation norms.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS HQ, local institutions, and contracted staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
