Job summary

Amity Foundation in multiple regions seeks a Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to teach CBI Life Skills and Family Relations within prison and re-entry programs. You will facilitate classes, develop action plans, and document progress to support participants’ growth.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, with collaboration across CDCR/CCHCS and partner staff. This is an onsite, full-time role offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to be hired.
• Certification number on resume prioritized; or include scheduled test date.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes using evidence-based curriculum.
• Conduct sessions to develop action plans; provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS HQ, local institutions, and contracted staff.
