Job summary

Amity Foundation, a teaching and therapeutic community, seeks compassionate individuals to join as Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigators. You will instruct CBI Life Skills and Family Relations programming, support inmates and participants, and collaborate with CDCR teams to advance rehabilitation efforts.

The role emphasizes organizing classes, documenting progress, and maintaining confidentiality while working onsite in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator certification; certification number on resume preferred.
• If not certified, schedule Cal MHSA Test before applying; else you will be disqualified.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes using standardized curriculum.
• Conduct class sessions and develop action plans for participants.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants in classes.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institutions, and contracted staff.
