Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and engage with guests.
• Prepare bakery products for sale (icing, decorating, labeling).
• Maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Assist in bakery clerk duties as needed by management.
• Maintain sanitation in cooler, prep, and sales areas.
• Clean work areas, tools, and decorating bags.
• Rotate stock in the freezer by variety and date.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Report temperature issues to supervisor.
• Keep supply areas neat and organized.
• Rotate icings and manage color mixing per charts.
• Follow cake production sheets and use the cake production system.
• Record and work toward budgeted sales, shrink, and profits for bakery.
• Support Front Porch duties to maintain guest arrival standards.
• Announce specials and sales information over PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.
