Lowes Foods is seeking a bakery clerk to greet guests warmly and assist in bakery operations on site. You will prepare products for sale, decorate and label items, and ensure cleanliness and organization across the cooler, prep, and sales areas.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally, plus standing and bending for extended periods. Excellent guest service and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsabilités

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, packaging and labeling).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• When requested perform bakery clerk functions.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Properly mix colors according to color chart and use cake production sheet.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the cake section of the bakery.
• Performs Front Porch duties to ensure “guest arrival” standard is maintained.
