Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a bakery clerk to greet guests, prepare and present bakery products with quality and freshness. You will assist in decorating, labeling and packaging while maintaining sanitation and organization across cooler and prep areas.

This role includes fulfilling guest requests and supporting management to deliver a great in-store experience. Ideal candidates are friendly, can lift up to 25 lbs regularly, and communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stay for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, pricing, packaging and labeling).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• When requested perform bakery clerk functions.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
