Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare products for sale (icing, decorating, pricing, packaging and labeling).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• When requested perform bakery clerk functions.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Clean work area, couplers and decorating bags.
• Rotate freezer stock by variety and ensure organization.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat and tidy at all times.
• Rotate icings and read dates correctly; scrape buckets.
• Use cake production sheet as reference.
• Write on cakes as needed.
• Mix colors according to color chart.
• Master the use of the airbrush.
• Use cake production sheet for planning.
• Aim to achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the cake section.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Perform Front Porch duties to maintain guest arrival standards.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
