Qualifications

• 1+ years of cake decorating or culinary experience preferred.
• Familiarity with piping bags, whipped cream, fruit décor, and finishing techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labeling practices.
• ServSafe Food Handler's Certification preferred.
• Attention to detail, time management, and presentation pride.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Team-first attitude, willingness to learn, and hospitality passion.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Decorate and assemble cakes and desserts to recipe and brand standards.
• Follow production methods and maintain organized workflow.
• Ensure displays are organized and visually appealing for guests.
• Prepare creams, fillings, icings, and toppings from scratch or components.
• Manage daily production plans and workflows to meet cafe demand.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe decorating station.
• Support special orders and guest customization when applicable.
• Receive, stock, and organize ingredients and supplies efficiently.
• Monitor equipment and inventory; notify supervisors of issues or shortages.
• Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks.
• Help train new Cake Team Members in decoration techniques.
• Monitor product quality and consistency; attention to detail.
• Complete waste logs, production sheets, or prep reports as required.
• Adapt to other bakery tasks as needed; we are one team.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
