Job summary

Paris Baguette in New York is seeking a Cake Team Member to craft and decorate desserts, pastries, and cakes for daily service. You will contribute to cake production, maintain high presentation standards, and ensure products meet quality and safety expectations.

The role requires learning new recipes, working closely with teammates, and managing time to keep displays fresh. Flexible schedules and opportunities to grow with a fast-expanding bakery cafe brand are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food production and sanitation.
• Knowledge of confectionery production methods.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate cake decorating techniques.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Food handler certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scale, decorate and produce desserts, pastries and cakes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and follow sanitization procedures.
• Learn new recipes and train others in techniques.
• Ensure cake displays are appealing for customers.
• Receive, stock, and store ingredients properly.
• Inform supervisor when equipment malfunctions.
