Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring for a bakery team member at our Harrisburg store. You will start by reviewing the shift plan, preparing equipment, and following PPE requirements to perform duties, including frosting cakes and taking orders.

You will ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness across surfaces, tools, display cases, and floors, while meeting company standards and attendance expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start shift by reviewing the schedule and prep equipment.
• Mix frosting, color frosting, make cones, load cones, frost cakes, decorate cakes.
• Take, complete, and store bakery orders in the cooler.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, display cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
• Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation work habits.
