Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring for a bakery team member at our Mechanicsburg store. You will start shifts by reviewing the schedule, gathering supplies, and following PPE rules. You will frost cakes, decorate items, and manage bakery orders in a fast-paced retail setting.

Applicants should be authorized to work in the U.S., able to read and communicate effectively, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. A 60-day probation applies and reliable attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid identification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate to perform duties and follow policies/safety regs.
• Complete the 60-day introductory period (probation).
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements to perform the role.
• Able to use or learn to use the equipment/tools for the job.
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Meet company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Agree to wear the proper assigned clothes/shoes for the job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review schedule, check PPE, and prepare for duties at shift start.
• Mix frosting, color frosting, make cones, frost cakes, decorate as required.
