Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Cage Supervisor at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, WV. You will oversee cage and vault operations to ensure compliance with state, federal, and company guidelines while leading a team.

This role requires at least one year of supervisory experience in gaming, strong money handling skills, and excellent communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to obtain a gaming license are essential.

• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a gaming role.
• Must be able to handle large money transactions accurately and reconcile vault.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team, providing planning and scheduling of work assignments, and performance development.
• Participate in the selection and training of new team members, ensuring knowledge of laws and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues.
• Assist in the preparation of daily and weekly reports.
• Monitor inventory supplies for cage operations.
• Maintain an accurate cash bank and balance money at end of each shift; investigate all variances and report when applicable.
• Monitor the ticket redemption machines and schedule maintenance as needed.

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a full-time Cage Supervisor to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Weeling Island, West Virginia. In this role you will oversee all areas of the cage and vault to ensure that all state, federal, and Delaware North guidelines and procedures are being followed.

Pay

$19.50 - $19.50 / hour

What will you do?

More about you

• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a gaming role
• Must be able to handle large money transactions accurately and reconcile vault
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead in a results-oriented, high volume environment required
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license
• No college degree required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift 30 lbs occasionally
• Must be able tobend and life occasionally, stand for long periods of time
• Gaming environment, environment may be smoky with moderate-to-high noise levels
