Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Cage Supervisor for Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. You will oversee all cage and vault operations to ensure compliance with state, federal, and Delaware North guidelines.

Lead and train team members, monitor cash handling and vault reconciliation, and prepare daily and weekly reports. A minimum of one year supervisory gaming experience and the ability to obtain a state gaming license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a gaming role.
• Ability to handle large money transactions accurately and reconcile vault.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills in a high-volume environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team, providing planning and scheduling of work assignments, and performance development
• Participate in the selection and training of new team members, working to ensure they are knowledgeable of laws and procedures
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues
• Assist in the preparation of daily and weekly reports
• Monitor inventory supplies for cage operations
• Maintain an accurate cash bank and balance money at end of each shift; investigate all variances and report when applicable
• Monitor the ticket redemption machines and schedule maintenance as needed
• Maintain the supervisor bank transactions daily when necessary

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a full-time Cage Supervisor to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Weeling Island, West Virginia. In this role you will oversee all areas of the cage and vault to ensure that all state, federal, and Delaware North guidelines and procedures are being followed.

Pay

$19.50 - $19.50 / hour

More About You

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead in a results-oriented, high volume environment required
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license
• No college degree

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 30 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to bend and life occasionally, stand for long periods of time
• Gaming environment, environment may be smoky with moderate-to-high noise levels
