Delaware North Gaming is seeking an Assistant Security Manager to join our Wheeling Island Casino team in Wheeling, West Virginia. You will direct and oversee security operations, supervise staff, plan schedules, and ensure posts are filled.

The role requires strong leadership and attention to detail in a dynamic casino environment. The position includes investigations, timekeeping oversight, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass motor vehicle records check and drug test.
• Flexible schedule with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Train team members, assigning department schedules, ensuring posts are filled and timekeeping is accurate.
• Recover, tag, log, secure, and inventory lost and found items with owner look-up.
• Investigate incidents, motor vehicle accidents, and medical situations.
• Keep a log of counterfeit currency and controlled substances; report violations.
• Maintain confidentiality of security and administrative information.
• May be required to operate a company vehicle.

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for an Assistant Security Manager to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As Assistant Security Manager, you will be working to direct and oversee security operations as defined by leadership, supervising collaborative team members through planning and scheduling of work assignments and performance development.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $49,500 - $66,800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

• Training team members, assigning department schedules, ensuring all post positions are filled according to company needs, overseeing the timekeeping system, ensuring team members punch in and out promptly, and accurately documenting staff attendance, late arrivals, and overtime.e
• Recover, tag, log, secure, and inventory lost and found items, attempting tolocate thee owner, and keep an accurate and up-to-date log of warnings issued.
• Investigate incidents, motor vehicle accidents, and medical situations
• Keep an updated log of counterfeit currency recovered and controlled substances found on the property, as well as reporting procedural violations and illegal activity
• Comply with confidentiality regulations regarding all security and administrative information
• May be required to operate a company vehicle

More about you

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 21 years of age, as required by applicable laws and regulations
• Security supervisory, law enforcement, or related experience is beneficial
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license; pass a motor vehicle records check and drug test
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with minimum supervision
