Job summary

Delaware North is hiring full-time Security Officers to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a Security Guard, you will ensure a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to be licensed by State Gaming Commission.
• Ability to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations when handling guest issues or complaints.
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor.
• Conduct cash escorts as required.
• Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity.
• Maintain crowd control as required.
• Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally.
