Job summary

Resorts World Catskills is seeking a Shift Manager Cage to direct and supervise Cage personnel across shifts, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to Gaming Commission regulations. The role ensures the integrity of financial data and enforces company policies within the Cage/Credit Department.

You will oversee check cashing, guest credits, and departmental procedures, while coordinating audits and maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Minimum 5 years progressive banking experience, with 3 years in a supervisory role.
Must be able to obtain and retain a New York State Gaming Commission License.

Responsibilities

Directs Cage/Credit personnel during shift and oversees daily cash handling and records.
Approves check cashing requests and guest credit within authority.
Develops and enforces departmental procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Ensures integrity of financial data and compliance with laws, policies, and controls.
Monitors property-wide Cage/Credit activities for regulatory compliance and reporting.
Oversees budget development and adherence for the Cage/Credit department.
Coordinates audits of bank boards, deposits, and rotation logs; ensures strong checks and balances.
Trains, staffs, evaluates cage personnel, and participates in performance reviews.
