Job summary

American Place Casino is seeking a Casino Shift Manager to support the Cage/Credit Manager by enforcing policies, monitoring transactions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will protect assets and uphold internal controls while delivering outstanding guest service.

You will supervise and train staff, review documents, approve check cashing, resolve guest disputes, and step in for the Cage/Credit Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in all facets of cage operations.
• Ability to operate calculators, computers and money counters for cash and coin.
• Knowledge of cage computer system.
• Ability to handle high volume and stress situations.
• Basic math skills with knowledge of currency.
• Bilingual a Plus (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent guest service while maintaining control of cage assets.
• Supervise, train, evaluate, coach team members, and assist with scheduling.
• Review documents and transactions to ensure gaming regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate guest credit records and audit cage transactions with table games.
• Approve check cashing and credit issuance per policy and resolve guest disputes.
