Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support daily meal service across multiple school districts. The role covers set-up, food prep, cooking, serving lines, and maintaining food temperatures.

Candidates must follow menu plans, HACCP, and HHFKA/CACFP guidelines, maintain clean work areas, operate kitchen equipment, and assist with administrative tasks and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plan and recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate equipment with proper certification and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory with FIFO; keep coolers and storage organized.
• Assist with dishwashing and maintain food safety records.
