Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff on an as-needed basis to support meal service across districts. Responsibilities include line setup, food preparation, and safe handling to ensure quality and temperature control.

You will work in a team to maintain cleanliness, proper inventory, and efficient service, with emphasis on hospitality and adherence to recipes and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and menus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at correct temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Prepare baked goods as required; present items attractively to customers.
• Follow HACCP procedures and maintain daily food safety logs.
