Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen teammate to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering functions.

You will perform all kitchen duties and help ensure meals meet menu plans and quality standards. Set up serving lines, prep ingredients according to recipes, operate equipment with proper training, and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or up to one month of related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and assist with serving lines.
• Participate in occasional catering functions.
• Perform all positions within the kitchen.
• Set up serving lines and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare breads, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods as required by the menu plan.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work spaces and comply with safety procedures.
• Follow HACCP processes and maintain daily production records.
