Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking a kitchen associate to assist with breakfast and lunch service, prep foods per menu plans, and support dining operations.

You will help set up serving lines, monitor temperatures, and ensure clean, organized work areas while following Opaa!’s recipes and safety policies. Responsibilities include operating equipment, maintaining inventory, handling cash and POS tasks, and participating in daily cleanliness and recordkeeping activities in a busy school or campus

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand basic instructions and convert recipes for meal prep.
• Ability to operate simple math for portions and scale recipes.
• Ability to follow HACCP and food safety protocols.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organize work areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up serving lines and ensuring food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plans and Opaa! recipes, and pre‑prep for next day menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain FIFO inventory practices and keep coolers organized.
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen and cafeteria areas.
• Handle customer monies and run the POS system as required.
• Submit daily hours and perform meal reconciliation tasks.
• Adhere to safety rules and participate in required training hours.
