Job summary

The Slick Cafe is seeking a dependable team member to assist with breakfast and lunch service, maintain high food-safety standards, and keep the kitchen and dining areas clean. You will support multiple stations and participate in cross-training while upholding a professional, courteous demeanor with customers.

This role requires standing for extended periods, ability to lift 30–40 pounds, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced food service environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handler’s License preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• 0–3 years: Prior food service experience preferred but not required.
• 0–3 years: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and serving meals during breakfast and lunch service.
• Maintain food safety standards and keep kitchen and serving areas clean and organized.
• Support multiple stations (salad bar, grill, hot serving line, deli, pizza) and restock items as needed.
• Attend safety and food handling training sessions and follow company policies.
