Job summary

The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a dedicated Cafe Specialist to join our Papago Park Campus café team on a full-time basis. You will manage front-of-house service, prepare drinks and menu items, and operate the POS system with accuracy and care.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, at least one year in a high-volume kitchen or beverage setting, and strong customer service skills to help deliver a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One-year prior work experience in a high-volume kitchen or beverage service environment required.
• Food Handler Card required.
• Experience in customer service and/or retail preferred.
• Ability to learn/use POS software and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Open/close duties, operate hot and cold service lines, and prepare drinks and menu items per recipes.
• Use POS system to create/close customer transactions and handle cash responsibly.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and promotions; deliver excellent customer service.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
