Job summary

Arizona Humane Society seeks a full-time Retail & Café Supervisor to lead three campus retail stores and a full-service café, with flexibility to work at Papago Park, South Mountain, and Sunnyslope campuses. The role centers on delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting animal welfare initiatives.

You will train staff, manage scheduling and payroll, oversee inventory and promotions, and ensure health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, financial management, or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of retail and/or restaurant management experience required.
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficient in MS Office and POS systems.
• Experience maintaining low costs, driving margins, and using expense reports.
• Must be able to read/write English; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to learn/use Clover software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of three retail stores, one full-service café, and one micro market across three campuses.
• Train, schedule, and support staff and volunteers; ensure standards and customer experience.
• Assist with hiring, performance management, and volunteer coordination; cover staffing shortages including one café shift weekly.
• Lead budgets and financial reporting; monitor sales and inventory; identify cost-saving opportunities and market trends.
