Job summary

Colectivo Coffee in Milwaukee is seeking a Café Shift Leader to provide leadership and deliver a remarkable experience for customers and co-workers, under the supervision of the Café Manager. The role requires a college degree or at least 6 months in hospitality or supervisory work, proficiency with POS and computers, basic math, and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Training through Colectivo programs is expected.

Qualifications

College degree in a business-related field and/or a minimum of 6 months work experience in a hospitality setting and/or a supervisory role.
Proficient with POS and computer programs.
Basic mathematics for business usage.
Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs.
Completion of Colectivo Café training programs (Register, SB, 300 level bar certification, New Hire Orientation).

Responsibilities

Deliver café’s positive financial results in accordance to budget.
Develop and maintain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Train and develop co-workers for their job responsibilities.
Delegate responsibilities using Café Functional Architecture Model to ensure a great customer experience.
Maintain a positive and inviting tone for customers and co-workers.
Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
