Job summary

Colectivo Coffee is seeking a Café Shift Leader in the Retail department to oversee daily café operations under the Café Manager. The role focuses on delivering an outstanding customer experience and ensuring financial results align with budgets.

The position requires a college degree or at least 6 months in hospitality or supervisory work, strong POS skills, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training programs are part of the onboarding.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Café Shift Leader will provide leadership to deliver a remarkable experience for our customers and co-workers as it relates to Colectivo Coffee’s Mission and Values, under the supervision of the Café Manager.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver café’s positive financial results in accordance to budget.
• Develop and maintain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement that adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes.
• Train and develop co-workers for the responsibilities of their jobs, which ensure a high level of their overall performance.
• Delegate specific responsibilities using Café Functional Architecture Model. · Ensures the café’s coffee, food and administrative functions provide a remarkable customer experience with Colectivo’s people, products and environments.
• Develop and maintain a positive and lively tone that is inviting and encouraging to our customers and co-workers.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

College degree in a business-related field and/or a minimum of 6 months work experience in a hospitality setting and/or a supervisory role.

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed Colectivo Café training programs – Register, SB, 300 level bar certification, New Hire Orientation.
