Job summary

Miss J Diner in Wapakoneta, OH is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee daily cafe operations and lead a team of service staff. You will be responsible for opening or closing the cafe and ensuring top service throughout your shift.

Highlights include supervising staff, managing inventory, handling cash with POS, and maintaining health and safety standards while ensuring timely preparation of food and beverages. Interview anytime between 11am and 4pm at 1775 Bellefontaine St.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising cafe/restaurant staff.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.

• Food Safety certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support cafe staff during assigned shifts.
• Open or close the cafe following standard operating procedures.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve any guest issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management.
• Handle cash, POS transactions, and daily reconciliations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafe according to health and safety standards.
• Train and mentor new team members as needed.
• Communicate with management about staff performance, inventory needs, and customer feedback.
• Ensure timely preparation and quality control of food and beverages.
