Job summary

Urban Air Huntington Beach is seeking a Café Lead to oversee shift operations, guide Team Members, and ensure high standards in food preparation and guest service. This hands-on role focuses on kitchen and service areas with a fast-paced environment and strong emphasis on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have food & beverage experience, a high school diploma, leadership background, and a ServSafe or equivalent certification, with willingness to obtain certification

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 6–12 months of prior food and beverage experience (quick service/restaurant).
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• Current ServSafe or similar food handling certification, or willing to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations of Urban Air Café and guide Team Members.
• Ensure proper execution of processes, systems, and standards.
• Manage deliveries and storage; minimize wastage.
• Lead Café Team to meet expected service standards.
• Train staff in menu preparation and beverage/food service.
• Set and model standards for punctuality, cleanliness, and professionalism.
• Address guest concerns and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
